The operating terms for Rushplumb plumbing services in Brockton, MA — flat-rate quoting, scheduling, payment, warranty, scope, and the rare cases where we have to walk away.
By calling (888) 616-9423 or using a form on this site to request service, you agree to the operating terms below. Plain English. No fine print to spring on you later.
Every job is quoted flat-rate before any work begins. The dispatcher gives you a price range on the phone based on your description; the on-site plumber confirms the exact flat-rate number after inspecting the problem. You approve the number before any tool comes off the truck. If the scope changes mid-job — additional damage uncovered, a different part is required — the plumber stops, explains, and re-quotes. You approve the revised number before any additional work proceeds.
Emergency dispatch is on-demand — no appointment, no cancellation fee, call when you need us. Scheduled work books a date and a window (morning, afternoon, or specific time). Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled window are free. Cancellations inside the 24-hour window incur a truck-roll fee disclosed at booking. No-shows incur the minimum service charge disclosed at booking.
Payment is collected on-site after the walkthrough. We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), cash, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Larger scheduled projects may be invoiced with payment due net-7 under a prior credit arrangement. Returned payments and chargebacks incur a processing fee plus the original balance.
Rushplumb provides a one-year warranty on its labor and on parts we install, beginning the day of the job. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and defective parts — not damage caused by misuse, modification by other contractors, freeze damage on insufficiently insulated systems, or normal wear of consumable items (washers, gaskets, flush valves). Manufacturer warranties on water heaters, faucets, and major fixtures apply per the manufacturer's terms. Submit warranty claims by calling (888) 616-9423.
Rushplumb performs plumbing services — water supply, drain, vent, gas piping, fixtures, water heaters, sump pumps, and related installation, repair, and replacement. We do not perform HVAC system installs, roofing, electrical wiring beyond what is required to make plumbing equipment functional, structural framing, septic tank pumping, well drilling, or general contracting. When a job requires another trade, we coordinate with a vetted partner; their work is governed by their own terms, not ours.
Work requiring a permit (gas line work, water service replacement, full repipes, certain fixture relocations) is permitted and inspected through the City of Brockton Building Department or the appropriate municipal authority for surrounding towns. Permit costs are agreed in writing before work begins. The customer receives the permit record at job completion.
We reserve the right to decline or stop a job when the customer demands work that violates Massachusetts plumbing code, requests we skip permits or inspections on permitted work, refuses to allow the plumber to safely shut off water or gas, or behaves in a way that creates an unsafe environment for the plumber. In these cases the customer is invoiced the minimum service charge and any work-in-progress materials.
Rushplumb carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Liability for damage caused by Rushplumb's work is limited to the cost of the work performed plus reasonable repair to the damaged area, as determined by the homeowner's insurance assessment. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden damage discovered during the work, or losses caused by delays beyond our control (severe weather, utility outages, traffic).
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Disputes are resolved first by direct discussion with Rushplumb management at (888) 616-9423, then by mediation, and only if necessary by binding arbitration in Plymouth County, Massachusetts.
If we change these terms, the effective date at the top of the page updates. Material changes do not apply retroactively to work already booked.
